The Men and Women who served in our military should not have to pay to be honored and respected. They signed a blank check, and some paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Menifee should not charge them $135 dollars for a military banner. They should be appreciated without question or cost, by our military banner program. I requested a future agenda item to help our service members. I did not get a second vote in support. As your future Mayor, know I will continue to advocate for our veterans. The city should find the means to afford the total program cost of $85,000 to support our service members.
